While doing a GIS on Gay Rainbow, I came across this little <a href="http://pacific.fws.gov/aba/dcr/Special%20Emphasis/Gay%20Pride/gaypride.htm">tidbit</a>.
Please tell me this is a joke.
I sent an email to Mandy_Olund@r1.fws.gov, who's name was on the home page.
I would like to know who, and by what measure, determined that
Ellen Degeneres and Melissa Etheridge are "Great Women in History"?
Was it the same person that determined that Greg Louganis, is also
one of the "Great Women in History"?
You've listed one famous homosexual comic, one famous homosexual
singer/song writer and one famous homosexual swimmer/diver.
While any of them could be arguably, be called "great" in their respective
fields of endeavor, wouldn't "Great"..."in History", imply a little more?
:eyebrow:
Obviously, this is a joke. You can probably get someone in BIG trouble by reporting it, however, as the site is real.
I think it's more just an accident. If you go back to the "Special Emphasis" page, and look at the National Women's History Month link, it has the exact same title across the top. I imagine someone was just copying and pasting and didn't notice.

Yup, some low level GS worker in a "good enuff gor goberment" mindset. Pay's the same.
