I was in NOLA a year or so ago. There are a lot of night time ghost tours--if you go be sure to rest up before because you walk A LOT in NO (at least we did. We stayed in the French Quarter.)

Be sure to eat at Peristyle's, Mother's, and I think the steak place was Dickey Brennan's?? The food really IS fabulous there! :yum:

Oh, you had me there for a second! I thought to myself, "lookout has deeply rooted ethical convictions that don't involve sex??" I was, for a mo, confused. Yeah, the food ROCKS! The ghost tour I took was OK. The seance I went to was lame.

The ghost tour that I went on was totally boring. But that was about 7 or 8 years ago, and like Brianna said, there are a ton of different tours, so maybe yours will be better. You can always go, and then just stop walking with the group if it's not floating your boat.
