Gonna be in Bowling Green, Kentucky in a couple of days (business trip).
Any pointers on what to see. I'll bring my camera.
Same thing for St Louis (other than the friggin arch)
east st louis is a must see. very historic.
seriously though, in stl just ask a local and they are all pretty friendly about telling you what to check out.
Hmmm...I might be able to help with St. Louis.
--Jefferson National Expansion Memorial (The Old Courthouse and The Arch; The Old Cathedral is on the grounds, but not part of the memorial)
--Union Station
--Forest Park (World's Fair Pavilion, the Zoo, the Art Museum, the Science Center, the History Museum and the Jewel Box)
--University City Loop
--The Sycamore Homestead ;)
There are lots of other places, but I don't know how long you're going to be there. If you want more info, or have any other questions about St. Louis, just ask.
Finished my trip.... Did not remember my camera....didn't have time to roam anyway (except for running sessions near the holiday in south and a quick beer-n-wings with a buddy @hooters)...so there
I spent most of my time in these huge manufacturing facilities...saw the arch while I zipped past it....
anyone from the Spokane area?
