6/26/2004: Boy sculpture

Danish Crown Prince Frederik and his fiancee Mary Donaldson look at the Ron Mueck sculpture 'Boy' at The Aros Art Museum. The Aros Art Museum, situated 200 kilometers (125 miles) northwest of the capital, Copenhagen, was opened Wednesday by Danish Queen Margrethe.

Yeah, it's really a sculpture. Perhaps this picture will aid with your sense of scale.

what kind of point is it trying to prove? I mean, most obscure art has a point to prove.

just for fun I tried to assume this position. I fell over backward like a June bug trying to traverse a sliding glass door...

I vote no sculpture...The eye positions between the two pics are totally different.
(And he should have named it "Tantric Constipation")

This sculpture exists so the artist can prove he can make you do a double-take even though you KNOW it's not a real boy to start with.
