On top of everything else, yes...he's welding on a gas tank.

He has a rock behind the rear tire. He knows what he is doing.

And if he ventilated the gas tank, he's good to go.
The standard redneck (err, "shade-tree mechanic") gas-tank repair technique is to run exhaust into the tank. Preferably not exhaust from the car you're repairing.
I like the way he's saving time by charging the battery while he works on the tank.

that Red thing you see is probably not a battery charger, but rather part of the welding apparatus.
shouldn't this be in the "you might be a redneck" thread?
yeah, the red thing is the arc welder.
how do you suppose he got those props under the truck? i imagine a group of his friends rocking it back and forth like they do in LA, and him jamming the pole in there at just the right moment. either that, or a little old lady with an adrenaline rush lifted it up off of her favorite cat.

Jack; block; jack on block; block; jack on block; block, jack on block?
Or my favorite: forklift.

He piled a bunch of heavy shit up in the bed of the pickup until it started leaning
just right.
He got a bunch of his buddies and they leaned it up until he could find something to keep it there.
That picture was posted on the US Navy Safety Center
website a few months ago. It had been sent to them by a guy in Austrailia. That explains it. :haha:
Damn, that was on grass it would be one thing, but he's one twitch away from knocking that 4x4 out.
Actually I hope he lived, it's the rich bastards who can't be bothered to check there own fluids that I want to see crushed.
