I think that translates to something like "life sadness" or "those who are sad with life."

Hmmm it means actually that they are tired of life...
The painting measures 298cm x 150cm, it has a lot of details, I think I stayed for 1/2 hour just watching...
These men seem really tired of life, don't have any power, they are burned and are waiting for death.
I wanted it as poster but couldn't find only, unicate prints and they cost about 80€

When I saw the pig one, I assumed it had to do with "happy as a pig in shit." I didn't think it was soup.

Seeing a powerful painting in real life, the scale, the color, the brush strokes, the gleam of the paint, the imagery that hits you in the eye, mind and heart. Its pretty amazing. You own that artwork now. If you visit it again it will be like an old friend. You can pick up right where you left off. I love that.
