Research has shown that young children cannot identify the intimate couple because they do not have prior memory associated with such a scenario (i.e., they haven't seen enough prime time TV).

I think there was a similar picture a while back when I was in college with a group of couples having sex which could look like a smiling face. I don't know if it is true, but someone I knew in ROTC said the Marines believed that if you saw a smiling face you had homosexual tendencies.
