we are on the edge of 100,000 posts.
UT, is there any way of identifiying the 100,000th post? apart from repeatedly reloading the main page.
Will the person making the post get a prize? Say, an all expense paid holiday for two in the cellar?;)

THAT'S A BUMMER. I was thinking along the lines of what the ladies were saying. Not so much my usual post count obsession, bruce. I was thinking that maybe you'd let them pick one of your dodads as a prize :) , or I could send them a free tshirt or something goofy like that. I looked at the post ID of the most recent, and the # is well over 100k. i imagine that the postid stays the same even if a post is deleted. hence the disparity between that # and the one listed on the front page.
We'll just have to monitor it closely as it nears.
keep your eye on it, you could be the winner.....of what I don;t know, but i personally will put up a tshirt if UT has one in your size among the extras.

Okay...so was anyone paying attention to the 100,000th post?
Actually, that wasn't the real 100,000th post anyway. The system apparently counts deletions, and the last post I saw had a number near 102,000.

which one was the 100kth? forgetting the including deletion count. i friggin missed it. is there any way to tell?
