Net Nanny

Man, I'm now under scrutiny of a 'net nanny program here at work.

You won't be hearing much from me for awhile. Posting during my lunch "breaks" was about all I've been able to accomplish for awhile.

That's why no Tony Randall eulogy...no time.

We have one of those too ... it does not screen sites very well.

It has decided several of the sites (political) I go to are of the "mature/pornography" category. I don't give enough of a damn to get the sys admin to issue an override.

It also keeps one off "chat/dating/personals" sites. I miss having Yahoo Messenger at work for slow nights.

Does it block proxy servers?

It *is* a proxy server...all our Internet access goes through our corporate proxy in Florida.
