Springtime in New Sudetenland

Took a short road trip to see the wildflowers today. Thought I would share:

This gravesite probably cost more than my first house. I would find it kind of creepy to have my final resting place, well, so established:

Bridge Out!

There was this whole row of infant graves. Quite sad really:

If this name doesn't ring a bell, Google it. Weird:

I would give my left nut if the 'H' in this picture was an 'M'. I guess it could be Photoshopped that way:

All in all, a good day in SE Texas...

Not the same Jan Masaryk:

In March 1948 Masaryk was found dead in the courtyard of the Foreign Ministry below his bathroom window. The initial investigation concluded that he committed suicide by jumping out of the window, although many are convinced that he was pushed.

Are you serious? It's been 70 here for at least three weeks. I'm getting worried that if we don't finish planting our flower bed soon, they won't get enough of a foothold before the heat gets 'em.

i shit you not, cfobble. it was 28 when i got in my car this am...wind blowing from the north....clear and crisp.

and *I* got snow last night...about a half inch total. Wind blew most of it away but there's still some in the shady areas.

Have I mentioned that I like Florida a LOT? Especially in the winter up here.

Good thing I didn't take off my snow tires yet.

I think it'll be a while yet before I unpickle the motorcycle and go riding again.

It's spring in DC, and time for the toad orgy. Remember this?

Looks perfect, and saves me the trouble of having to go out an 'replace' the original.

But given the context of the "cool marble" that figured prominently In the Heat of the Night, this site has awesome possibilities, under a full moon.

Thanks for the kudos, all.
