3/3/2004: Kick your ass cop cars

Dateline Bakersfield California, and thanks to Wolf for suggesting this one. She notes that not only is this verified true, covered in this story, but they now have a cafepress shop for it.

The decals are not on the cars now, and it's not clear how serious they were from the story, but hey.

Here's the car from their sex crimes department:

well we knew they were rough..

The version I was sent by a member of that department had an extra statement ... which may have been photo ... uh, digitally added in ...

In Houston, they don't need any signs. The mere sight of a cop car implies "We'll kill your ass!".

Anyone ever been to Bakersfield? Uh, not much out there. They must not have anything better to do ;)

I live half-way between Fresno and Bakersfield - talk about not much to do....

The cowboy mentality is alive and kicking (your ass) here in the valley. We even have rodeos every year that have a tradition going back a hundred years.

It's true they will kick your ass, the phrase shoot first ask questions later, is practically like breathing around here.
