I went to the Big Easy last night, one of the premier blues venues in Houston. It was a zydeco jam night, so I asked if I could sit in with the band. Here is what happened:
(Attaching pics because I'm lazy)
The Timbo life: we all want to live it, but only he can, so we must enjoy it through pictures.
The real story is, he asked to sit in and they told him to beat it, so....:)
at least he's not traveling around the country with one glove on singin' "beat it!"
Here I am performing with Oscar Perry at Shakespeare's Pub, my local blues joint:

People were asking "Where are you guys playing again?"
That was cool.. guess I'm with the band now, but not sharing in the tip jar, unfortunately. However Oscar says I can join in anytime.

nice pix. but to me cigs and beers in each of these more highlighted than people. "camels" definitely, but beers, no idea what it is.
Coors Light and Miller Genuine Draft.
Not quite Tsing Dao ... flavors of the two American Beers shown are much weaker
Maybe I should start giving lessons
