Wish I'd Thought of This...

We've got about six inches of the white stuff on the ground now. I was on my way to work in it this morning when the boss called me on my Nextel and said to go back home, it was pointless. I must say that I don't think I will ever again be able to do without four wheel drive in the wintertime again.

Anyway, this is pretty much how I feel about this time of year.

We have a pair of downy woodpeckers that come to our suet feeders every day. Here's the female. The feeders are pretty popular today with all the snow...

If you didn't have 4-wheel drive you would have been warm and cozy when your boss called.:haha:
The woodpeckers know, cold weather = eat fat.

Aaaah! I saw a middle finger! I'm offended and am suffering from mental anguish! I'm suing!

Uh...Syc? It isn't what you're seeing that's causing the mental anguish. It is the temperature of the coffee you've been drinking.

What do you do where you got all this free time!? :)
I am jealous

Actually, the sculpture isn't mine...hence the thread title. As for the bird feeder pics, they cancelled work last Thursday, so I was sitting in my home office, watching it snow, and it seemed like a pleasant thing to do to shoot some bird pics.

Oh...and I'm not a newlywed. :D
lumberjim • Feb 10, 2004 1:45 am
you two aren't newly anything!
Elspode • Feb 10, 2004 1:48 am
That isn't true...I am newly disgusted with my job...
lumberjim • Feb 10, 2004 2:02 am
wow. that didn't take long. i hope it is a temporary state of disgust.
Elspode • Feb 10, 2004 1:03 pm
I hope it only lasts until another opportunity arises.
