9/7: Convenience store crack pipe

This little object can apparently be found at convenience stores - a little decorative item, a 4" tube containing a fake rose.

In one location, however, people are protesting that they shouldn't sell it because it is actually a crack pipe... or at least, crackheads are using it as one.

I think I've seen this item, but it never would have occurred to me that it was related to drugs. Do the C-stores sell it knowing that it could be used that way? Was it designed to work that way? Or just a wierd coincidence? What should happen now?

Yeah, I used to see them at 7-Eleven all the time.

Now, I have never done crack before, nor do I intend to. However, just looking at that item, I don't think that this little glass tube would be a good substitute. It's probably made of cheap glass anyway.

Where else can you find a nice section of clean glass pipe like that? I would assume it's perfect for crack. The little fake rose? What the hell is that? Oh yeah, they really need to ship those in fire-polished double-opening clear glass pipes.

I wonder if the box has a warning label?

"WARNING: WHILE THIS PRODUCT WOULD MAKE A FIRST-RATE CRACK PIPE, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS USE."
