I can't give away ALL of the Fort Slang secrets ... but he doesn't use aluminum foil. It's too highly reflective and hurts his eyes on those rare occasions that he's awake during daylight hours.
He had a thousandweight of lead left over from another project, and has lined all of the interior surfaces with it. It's very cozy.
