Legalization of marriage is way ahead thus far...good deal.
The Pagan community has turned out big time for this poll. Good to see reason winning over prejudice and ignorance. If you combine the legalized marriage and civil union categories, the homophobes are getting their butts trounced quite soundly.
Now, the question is...if the poll ends up like it stands now, will the results ever see the light of day? Is the sponsor of the poll still going to present the result to Congress and publicize the hell out of it, or will it just quietly slip away?
Knowing Wildmon, there will be (actually, it's already happening, that's how I found out about this poll) emails going out to every ultraconservative website and email list out there.
