Benches

The Dr Seuss Memorial I posted awhile ago, is in a quadrangle formed by 3 museums and a library, in Springfield, MA. In that same quadrangle was a bunch of benches.
These show the City Seal and ethnic diversity.

These show the slave trade and the involvement of the Black community in Springfield activities. Springfield is the home of Basketball, Indian Motocycles, Springfield (rifle)Armory and a lot more.

The people up there are very honest. You can even leave you groceries and lunch on a bench.;)

For public art that sure beats the hell out of the Miles of Mules in Bethlehem, PA.

(I kind of dug the "Fish Out of Water" thing in Baltimore. Some of those were awesome)
