The only caption on this is "Shepherds drive their sheep through Madrid to protest modern encroachment on Spain's centuries-old herding paths."

Damn right! Flock politics as usual!

A ha ha, look at the one with horns on the middle left.

This is probably going to be the oddest thing I'll ever say on these boards.

But ever since I was little..I dreamt of riding on a sheep.

Dreamt of meaning "would like to" or "have dreams about"?

Would like to.

I remeber I was about 5 and I told my grandparents about it and they took me to this place where you could ride a pony. I cried and told them that I didn't want to ride a pony but a sheep. They told me that I'd have to settle for a pony...I cried while riding the pony. People thought I was just afraid of being on a pony but it was because I wanted to ride a sheep...

Well you know...it can be arranged.

Well see..I kinda grew up...never got a chance to ride a sheep.

I think at 6'6" and 240 the sheep won't survive the ride and I'll look stupid doing it. Nevermind all the hicks who'll be watching : "What's he doing? Thats not how you mount a sheep..."

I think by now everyone here thinks that I'm totaly insane...and an asshole.
warch • Dec 12, 2003 4:02 pm
Perhaps a victim of my annoying carebearosity, but you won a few points with me for being intouch with your inner sheep rider.

FNF, I have an inflatable sheep you could use.:) Dibs on publishing.
FileNotFound • Dec 12, 2003 4:57 pm
You HAVE an inflatable sheep?
Odd...usualy people have inflatable chicks..but to each his own.

But seriously, what don't you have? I tried looking through that Doodads thread and after a few hours I realized that I didn't have time...

But thats a good thing. If I even need a flux capacitor or a tempral shift generator, I know whom to ask for them.

The Rolling Stones' classic hit, "Hey you, get offa my cloud," was actually an old Scottish folk song, "Hey McLeoud, get offa my ewe."

Ahh yes...That's how I feel when I request a piggy-back from those smaller than I. Recieving a piggy-back has been an odd life-long dream of mine. I suppose we all have those silly little dreams. Mine, however, is a result of a piggy-back deprived childhood. Sad, I know. :(

I don't think you're insane.

**Lame attempt at humor. Do not be offended by this post. Joke. I would say "Do not be offended and leave", but it's FNF, so ..... no I'm kidding. Really. Crap. Now I feel like the US Forces in Iraq...no exit strategy...

I'm just wondering if while FnF was a small child, unable to properly interpret events, he didn't see something that maybe he shouldn't have

:)
Undertoad • Dec 15, 2003 12:00 pm
Hee! Too much, FNF!

The kid doesn't look all that fulfilled by the experience though!
FileNotFound • Dec 15, 2003 4:43 pm
Kids are like that when they're young. They don't know how lucky they are.

For example, when I was in kindergarden, as in I was less than 7 years old, we had 'sleeping time' from about noon till 4pm I think. I hated it. I never wanted to sleep but they made us.
One day some kid came in who was probably about 16 and said "Wow you are so lucky. Sleep! You'll WISH you had 4 hours to sleep during the day when you grow up! Trust me!"

Needless to say I found that to be absurd. I didn't exactly want to grow up, but I didn't see why anybody would want to sleep during the day.

There have been many times in my life when I have remembered that statement and how correct it was. I would certainly be happy to have just an hour for a nap today.

As far as the photo, I bet that kid will miss his ability to ride the sheep when he grows up...

...alright, maybe he won't. I don't know how I was trying to link the kid on a sheep to sleep...forget it.
xoxoxoBruce • Dec 15, 2003 10:10 pm
That sheep riding looks dangerous but there is one option.:)
