I wish I could get the hang of doing that with a digital camera.:(

who made that camera tim? i've looked at it when i've been over there but never really paid any attention. there is no way my digital could catch baron in the air like that (sharpness).

It's a Nikon Coolpix 995. They don't make 'em anymore.

The trick to getting a shot like this is you have to anticipate the action and press the shutter about a half second early. Takes some practice but I've got some pretty good stop-action shots with it (remember the dart-throwing guy?).

Anyway, I'm currently thinking about upgrading to the Sony DSC-F828. Bitchin' camera. Plus, unlike its predecessors from Sony, it takes Compact Flash cards as well as Memory Stick, so I don't have to re-invest in additional media. Although the Memory Stick does seem to have a faster recording time, IMO.

NightShot® Infrared System and NightFraming System. Huh.

Does this mean we'll soon be getting green-eye Paris Hilton shots from you man?

if you do upgrade, what are you going to do with the old one? if you don't want it, i'll buy it off of you....

My camcorder already has that capability.

Besides, if I'm anywhere near a naked Paris Hilton I'm leaving the lights on.
