Ooo, that looks kinda cool without the flash.

Curious: what type of camera did you use (and I'm guessing you didn't use a tripod for the no-flash shot)?

Sorry, the shutterbug in me had to ask. ;)

If you pull the image into photoshop and isolate just the highlights of the pic (i.e the fairy lights) and then make into a transparent layer, you can overlay the lights onto the first pic taken with flash.

Chris.

OK OK! I admit that didn't work (I tried ;) ) so here's my plan 'B'

Chris.

Some people are more creative than others with their lights.

But I've been swamped with that crap they call "real life"

Here's the tree that Brian put up for us this Year.

Btw - interesting fog effect was due to a digital camera being brought in from a cold car to a very warm house. :eek3:

Enjoy!:D

One more late one....
Happy Monkey • Jan 4, 2004 11:21 pm
...here. Oops.
lumberjim • Jan 5, 2004 12:46 am
all oragami ornaments. I assume you made these, monkey. Do you have a job? how could you possibly have that much spare time?! And what kind of a tree ( or shrub) is that?
Happy Monkey • Jan 5, 2004 7:55 am
Actually my mother made most of the ornaments over the course of several years. I can do complicated origami, but my precision isn't up to snuff for an ornament. It's the family tree - I don't put one up in my condo. It's a spruce of some sort, cut from the lot at my parents' weekend home in West Viriginia.

and potentially marketable
xoxoxoBruce • Jan 1, 2005 4:55 pm
I can just see hundreds of oriental children folding tape for 7 cents a day.
And ...um....yeah...
Happy Monkey • Jan 1, 2005 9:25 pm
That's the only way it would work. As it is, it takes me just over half a season of Buffy or two or three LOTR commentary tracks to make one..
Happy Monkey • Dec 26, 2005 6:35 pm
Here's this year's.
