PSA: Dave isn't really gone.

Despite recent indications to the contrary, Dave- the prolific Cellar poster and bon vivant- has not really departed in a snit.

No, this is just an elaborate ruse to explain his extended absence while he is on his honeymoon!

NEW YORK -- Guitarist Dave Navarro married TV vixen Carmen Electra last weekend at a hotel in Las Vegas, according to People magazine.

Sharon Osbourne was one of the bridesmaids. About 200 guests were greeted by men in black wearing red masks, a nod to one of the couple's favorite films, "Eyes Wide Shut."

The wedding took place in a Garden of Eden, with walls of water, flowered metal vines and a white python, People reported.

MTV has been filming their engagement and wedding and will broadcast it next year.

Electra, a former "Baywatch" star, who was married briefly to former Chicago Bulls star Dennis Rodman, said she realized her attraction to Navarro while watching a Red Hot Chili Peppers special on television. Navarro has since re-joined Jane's Addiction.

"My hairdresser knew him really well and wanted to introduce us. A year later, when I was starting to heal from my divorce, we went on a blind date," she said in a Jane magazine interview in 2001. "He's smart and funny and because he's gone through hard times, he doesn't live in fear."

Navarro said he knew he was in love when he saw her.

"She had on this white fur coat, her hair down, and her eyes pierced my heart from 20 yards away," Navarro said. "The first thing I did was buy her 1,200 pairs of sunglasses to cover up those eyes. I couldn't risk anyone else having the same reaction."

"Navarro said he knew he was in <strike>love</strike> lust when he saw her."

(57 attempts later, I get it right)

Yeah but take away the body, looks, money and fame, what have you got? Dennis Rodman's reject. :p

Proof that Rodman is, indeed, insane.

Slang, thanks so much for showing us how to do that strike thingee; I've been trying to figure it out! I am curious to know how hard it was for Carmen to 'heal' from her divorce -- didn't the marriage last for something like 45 minutes?

Nope I am new to the boards..thanks for the welcome. Hey does anyone know what Dave is doing beside the whole Rock Star show? New album?

The story is entirely too long to explain, but the short version is we don't give a shit about Dave Navarro, if that's what you're asking.
