My pic took 9th place at dpchallenge.com:

And I did something else that's cool, I call it 'Jacket':

Where was the contest photo taken, Ozarks? The jacket is interesting. Are you going to reveal your technique?

I have some freeware 3-D software that does something similar to your picture. It actually works pretty well.

Great fog pic, NBN...but...well...I, uh, don't quite know how to tell you this, but...your jacket is dead. Its spirit is shown leaving for there hereafter in that big picture, there.

Bruce,

That was taken in the Smoky Mts. in Tennesee. It was an awesome sight to see in person.

As far as 'The Jacket', I was just farting around in PS with desaturation and filters (can't really remeber more specifics), and the next thing you know I'm Andy Fucking Warhol!

I love the jacket pic.

Just for kicks, I wondered what it would have looked like if the jacket was the ONLY thing in the second layer. I think that would add a layer of intrigue that dissolves quickly from the orig since **all** objects are sharing the same offset.

Not a criticism of a beautiful pic - just a random thought.:)

They don't call them the Smokey Mountains for nothing. You see a lot of that along Skyline Drive/Blueridge Parkway and the Park over through Pigeon forge to Gatlinburg.:)
