Walt Disney meets Salvador Dali

Apparently in 1946, Walt Disney and Salvador Dali collaborated in making an animated short based on Dali's artwork. It was put on long-term backburner when Disney ran into money troubles, but the studio recently pullled it out of the vault and finished it up:

Not a new book, but just finished Kavalier and Clay. Great writing and one scene involves our two comic book creating geniuses hobnobbing with Dali and a freaky celebrity party.

This is the sort of thing that would make me consider dropping acid just one more time...
