What happens when you're in a shore town and 75 MPH winds blow inward? Your streets are covered in sea foam. That's one possibility, anyway, as evidenced by this seaside town in Uruguay last month.

It makes you wonder if the local schools close because of a "foam day".

That'd be pretty cool, kids in the streets throwing foam at one another, etc. etc.

That reminds me of the police tests with non-lethal weapons. One of the ones they had for riot (where riot ~= non-violent protest) control is a giant tube and a truck full of a sticky, ofamy gel. At first, it worked beautifully, but then people realized that it had a bad habit of smothering the prote^H^H^H^H^H^H rioters.
