Welcome to the Cellar cur-gem. Interesting that you (or she) chose to splatter the egg on the outside of the pan rather than the inside. I'd interpret the meaning of the two as different.;)

That's the "this is your brain on drugs" girl, Bruce...
xoxoxoBruce • Aug 27, 2003 8:38 pm
Ha, ha, ha. Can't be, she was cooking the egg (brain) inside the pan.
This hot Chick , is an egg (ball?) smasher.:D

No, that's the "version two" ad which targetted heroin or crack or coke or something.
elSicomoro • Aug 27, 2003 9:24 pm
It was the smack horse...and it was about as helpful in the War on Drugs as the first egg/drug commercial.

Version 2 ? I only remember the this is your brain (egg), this is your brain on drugs (egg frying in the pan).
Maybe I don't remember 2 because 1 didn't work.:D

Does she have the heroin addicted waif look in the commercial? That would make as much sense as the rest of the program, you know the illicit drug price supports etc...
Griff • Aug 28, 2003 7:45 am
btw... that is a pretty cool work cg even if we are flying off on a tangent.

Those are snaps right out of the second commercial. Basicly she sets an egg on the counter and starts beating the shit out of it with a pan.

Quzah.

In the second commercial this is based on, the girl smashes the egg and then proceeds to trash the entire kitchen. Actually, she reminds me of a girl I once knew..
More on that later..

You, know, I've aways had a thing for intense, waifish tomboys. :D

By the way, does anyone here know how to send multible images on the same message on this board.

Here's another image, by the way:

Does anyone know of a link to a video of this commercial?

It's a good thing you got a copyright on those pictures that you... took from a commercial.

I remember this commercial. Damn it, Bruce, are you the reason this chic is so pissed? Screw it, I've got a thing for intense borderline psychotic chics anyway...

If people can get copyrights on collages, or "photomosaics", or Warhol-style images, or any number of bits of modern art, I think curiousgemini is OK.

Yeh. Knowing from a ton of copyright research I did a few years ago after I got threatened by someone (for parody - it was a ridiculous claim, my response said so, and I never heard from her or her lawyer again), those pictures are OK in the sense of him copyrighting them. What may be fuzzy (I don't recall) is his right to distribute modified copies of the originals. Copyright law is a mess. I don't feel like researching. But yes, he can copyright his derivations.

If you mean the work was parody/satire, that's protected by law.
