Marilyn Manson playing a 'ukulele?

In the last three weeks I've purchased 2 new cds. First, new Marilyn Manson - The Golden Age of Grotesque. Yes, I know, a lot of people think their music is crap and he's a pompous ass... but what can I say? It's great music to sit in gridlock with (I'm in my car at least 3 hours a day). And you may be surprised how smart the guy actually is, but that’s not why I bought the cd.

The second, Isreal Kamakawiwol'ole - Alone In IZ World. Heard of him? He was (died a few years back) the most popular Hawaiian musician ever. Most of his music is just him and his 'ukulele. It's very calming and comforting. I highly recommend it.

I'm pretty open to most genres of music. It all depends on my mood. Does my cd collection make me crazy?

Yes, I realized that he was quite intelligent after reading parts of his interview in Blender recently.

But I thought his quote that went something like "shock was never my goal" was hilarious. Sure, loser, now that you're not shocking anymore, it's safe to say that.

depends.

Is your CD collection composed entirely of disks that have on them special encoded messages just for you, being a method of direct communication from the artist to your brain, or is the artist able to establish a psychic link with you while you listen to one CD such that s/he is inspired to greater heights of inspiration and creativity based on the patterns of your neural firings?
