Soap Box Derby

The people at Hyundai decided there is not enough parent child bonding going on and a good way for that to happen is for the parent and child to built a soapbox derby car together.
Out of the goodness of their heart cockles they have designed one for people skeptical of their own design/build skills.

You can download a 101 MB zip file with pictures, plans for every piece, assembly instructions, and 8x10 glossies with a paragraph on the back.
Opening the zip file gives several pdfs. Opening the pdf for plans give you Files 1,2,3,4,& 6 Don't know where 5 went?
Opening the files give you 12, 6,2,1,&18 pdfs. Packed like a sailor's duffel it is.

Now this may be a dandy bonding project, and a fun toy when done, but forget about winning a soap box derby. It's about as aerodynamic as a brick.

IIRC, at one time this was necessary to actually win the Derby.
