NHL: Lord Stanley's Bubble

Unlike the other leagues the NHL has taken the bubble concept seriously. They have the advantage of location keeping it all in Canada and a mix of players from Canada, USA, and Europe which inoculates them against potentially deadly stupid political stances. Playoffs start today. If you're desperate for sport there should be like 12 hours of hockey today.

Pens at 8pm Eastern.

As much as I like baseball, I'll be surprised if they play 10 more games.

I used this stuff for a recipe one time, back in the day on a dinner date. To characterize it as an epic fail would be a tragic understatement. The product of my efforts did indeed resemble dough which was cut into strips per the recipe, but it came out like... words fail me here. The flavor was OK, because the rest of the sauce and spices were ok, some kind of stew recipe. But the meat substitute was like trying to eat slices of a Vibram sole. Not an old boot, a brand new one constructed for maximum safety and penetration resistance. JFC, I don't think I was able to manage to chew one bite effectively. We wound up just eating around it, a meatless-free vegetarian stew.

But your strips will remain intact, I guarantee it.

I'm not sure what you're saying here. None of the latices broke. The filling is bubbling over them.

He's just saying he's never personally been able to make it work, because his own dough breaks apart.

I'm pretty sure there are a pair of them in a corner of Dad's porch, but I haven't seen any in the wild in... yeah, 30 years.

The two inch by x foot rolls are everywhere I think.
I got a 100+ foot camo green, heavy duty roll that keeps on going.
It is actually kinda fun to fix them.

OK, the beach chairs are lower but the lawn and picnic chairs look alike.

I bet the average price of the old aluminum web chairs at yard sales is under 10 bucks.
