New SARS blow

The basics, from a native:

a) No, we do not walk around wearing latex gloves and masks.
b) Between SARS and West Nile, we're pretty much keeping ourselves in check, and staying relaxed. That's all that can be done right now.
c) Apparently, all we have to do is get a little sick in order to get our talent to come home and play with us. For a decent price, we can go rawk on with our bad selves, with acts like Avril Lavigne, Barenaked Ladies, Sarah MacLachlan, Our Lady Peace, The Tragically Hip, and more.

or we can pay $10mil for the Rolling Stones.

I listen to CBC Radio One from Toronto almost every day, and they just mentioned that the WHO is not issuing another travel advisory for the city. That's good, although the damage to the tourism industry is already done.

Hell, I'll still go up there...the last time I looked (2 weeks ago), the flights were cheap.
