The Barcelona Opera re-opened this week, presenting a performance by a string quartet. They played to a full (green)house.

It was also livestreamed for humans and the plants will be donated to healthcare workers.

They appear to be well behaved, staying in their seats and not hanging from the balconies.

They were rooted to their seats

I'm sure that must have been a factor, as well as somehow it seems like it would feel less lonely playing to an audience of plants than to empty seats. The coverage seems to suggest it was more of an artistic statement/living piece, though

They all stayed put in their seats because they were a de-vine audience.
