???
BigV • Mar 26, 2020 3:20 pm
Are you not entertained?!?
fargon • Mar 26, 2020 9:08 pm
Not really. All I saw was a funnel in a bell jar with a clock. The second hand on the clock was moving, and there was no sound. So no I was not entertained.
Gravdigr • Mar 27, 2020 10:27 pm
I'd forgotten about that experiment.

Has it dripped yet?

I noticed the time isn't correct.
BigV • Mar 28, 2020 10:50 am
It has.

During a brief period of technical difficulty where the recording equipment was not working.

There is not an English number on the regions table!
xoxoxoBruce • Apr 20, 2020 2:23 pm
5 is a 7, 6 is a 2, and 9 is a 2 in high heels. ;)

Can't fool me, they're all different!
xoxoxoBruce • May 15, 2020 9:31 am
Excluding the numbers.
glatt • May 15, 2020 9:53 am
Well, I found one that was different, but then after Clod's comment, I found two more that were different in a different way, so then I stopped looking, because I figured they were all unique in some little detail. And I'm not talking about the numbers.

One doesn't have camel toe, one is looking in a different direction, one has a different tail, and I stopped there.

that's twenty-seven.

I can't place

the tiny man giving away money

the duck with a bag? on his head

the Queen sliding down

the dad giving boy a ticket
Ticket To Ride (ha!!)

the cossacks on the carousel

doctor Bob

the blonde mad girl

the flower for rent by the bee

the sweating workman with tools

the guy with the flat cap in the ticket booth.

!!!

I just got the drowning fellow--

Help!

That's twenty-eight.

and one more I can't even find... I guess.
glatt • May 19, 2020 7:29 pm
The queen sliding down is two references.

Her Majesty
and
Helter Skelter

There are probably other, more easily viewed, versions of these:

Where's the Putty Tat?
Larenstop • Jun 10, 2020 10:54 am
I think one of the best way to keep kids entertained is to buy them any musical instrument (only in cases they want it).For example, recently I've purchased drums to my kid and that was the perfect way to entertain him for long hours. I think it may even help him in his future.
Gravdigr • Jun 10, 2020 5:36 pm
I think I found the putty tat.

Spoiler Alert: ...Is it behind the tv?...<---highlight

That tv being off center in it's cubby would drive me batty. Short drive.

If G is right, then it looks like 1 down, 8 to go.
xoxoxoBruce • Jun 11, 2020 11:16 pm
Not necessarily, we can only see paws, so the rest of puddy tat may show signs of some of those eight have been used. :haha:
xoxoxoBruce • Jun 19, 2020 1:02 am
What’s the tie in to the apple? I see Adam, Eve, and the snake. Next to Eve is Isaac Newton, then Snow White, Bill Gates and the old hag who gave Snow White the poisoned apple. Don’t know who the blond is, but the guy next to her could be William Tell then his son. Or the guy at the head of the table is Tell and guy with the crossbow is with the blonde... or not?

Anyway, those are my guesses.
Clodfobble • Jun 19, 2020 11:45 am
The blonde is either Aphrodite or Helen of Troy--in Greek mythology, Paris had a golden apple inscribed "for the most beautiful" and had to pick which goddess to give it to. Each one offered him stuff, but he chose Aphrodite because she promised to give him the most beautiful human as his wife (Helen), thus starting the Trojan War.
Happy Monkey • Jun 19, 2020 12:52 pm
I believe it was Eris (the goddess), not Paris, who threw the apple. Paris was picked as judge by the other goddesses trying to claim it.
Clodfobble • Jun 19, 2020 3:32 pm
Right, Eris was pissed because she wasn't invited to the party, so she tossed the apple out hoping to start a jealous mosh pit of vanity...
xoxoxoBruce • Jun 20, 2020 2:27 am
OK, that leaves the dude in the blue shirt next to her and the guy at the head of the table. I think one of them is William Tell. The guy at the head of the table has a quiver of arrows and the blue shirt has a crossbow. I don't know which Tell used to shoot the apple off the boy.
Clodfobble • Jun 20, 2020 10:56 am
I think the crossbow is William Tell, since he's more properly seated next to the boy. The traditional bowman looks like Robin Hood, but I can't find any connection other than a random episode of the old "Adventures of Robin Hood" TV show called "An Apple for the Archer."
xoxoxoBruce • Jun 20, 2020 11:43 pm
You're right, Wiki say Tell used a crossbow.

All I found was The Minstrel and the Apple: A Story of Avalon and Robin Hood, on a fan fiction page.
xoxoxoBruce • Jun 24, 2020 9:59 pm
I had a tough time with this one. The caption said if it didn't move while you walked by you wouldn't see it.
I looked and looked, is that a bird, is that a squirrel, is there a snake in the grass? Couldn't see it.

Out of frustration I checked the comments.
1 - I found it. Oh shut up.
2 - I'd be dead. Aha, something dangerous.

Went back and spotted it right away.

I believe I had the exact same sequence of events on the same blog.
