Cannonball

I've been following the Cannonball pretty closely since Yates started it in '71.
It was interesting to see the different teams try different routes and strategies.
Different vehicles like a van with 55 gallon drums of gas so no stops.
Even catheters and diapers so no rest stops.
The last few attempts have been solo teams running alone with more and more technology.
I remember one got a half hour from NYC when they hit a backed up construction zone and called the whole
trip off because they couldn't make up the time.

This is unbelievable, absolutely incredible...

Yeah, yeah, I know... illegal, irresponsible, endangering the puppies, kittens, widows and orphans, menace
to society, save your breath I've heard it all.

I can't remember the last time I drove over 100.
Looks like it was all on interstates.

This fills in some spaces:
