ha, nice! for lady Clodfobble: salmiakki --Finnish salted licorice. It sounds weird, and it is weird. But it's a panacea for vocalists, and I assume, voice-over artists. I've been living among the biggest concentration of Finnish Americans this side of the Mississippi. It was this or lutefisk.

I am very curious--not a huge fan of licorice, but I generally crave salt over sweet, so these might very well be something I like. Had to search for a bit to find a gluten-free version, but I have now ordered some and will report back!
