The Mr Olympia competition in Vegas has several categories for men a women.

I know skin color is a taboo topic, and I'm not suggesting the guy on the right should choose one color or another, but it seems like you should apply it evenly so you are all one color. Especially where the way your body looks is the entire focus of the competition.

Is that bronzing body stain basically permanent, and he wants to keep his face a natural color for when he wears clothes? I must not understand a pertinent detail.

The guy on the left is Dexter “The Blade” Jackson. At the time of the photo, he is 49 years old. He won the 2008 Mr. Olympia and the 2012 Masters Olympia (the only bodybuilder to win both, ever). Overall, his 29 IFBB titles are more than anyone else has won. He’s not incredibly big—5’6”, 215 lbs.
