It's a Brit thing...

Bananas, bacon, peanuts, how bad can it be?

Wikipedia says it's Swedish..... as do many other Google results :/
What makes you think it's British?
It might be good. I like all the things in it. It sounds kinda mushy. Like sweet potatoes all smushed next to the turkey at thanksgiving. I bet it would be good the more I think about it. The peanuts are a little random.

...tha fuq???
225 degrees? C, maybe?
The article might well be British, but it doesn't make the dish a Brit thing
I was suggesting that was what made him think it was a British thing.
Myself, I know fine British cuisine. Well, I would if there were such a thing.
:stickpoke
Also, I think Step #5 assures us that this not an Earthly delight...
Yes it definitely comes across as an iffy translation
I saw it in a British newspaper, didn't dawn on me it was stolen from another culture.

Maybe an ill advised shot at texture? Texture is kind of a big deal for me. Been eating with the MiL every week. Lady loves hers soups and stews. :vomit:
Mixing ketchup with whipped cream made me double take, but bacon, peanuts, and banana sounded OK. The voice of a dedicated gourmand. ;)
