Whatever spelling, thank Adolph Levitt. In 1920 he invented the first automatic Doughnut machine.

Way back in the post-Napster days, I was posting on AudioGalaxy-- an p2p file-sharing site that had message boards for artists, songs, and albums. Also, a "General Discussion" board where the general ƒuckery took place.

The site had been swamped by threads regarding "how many donuts can you fit on your cock?" and the owner, Michael had called for a stop to it. A bunch of people, including Michael, were in a private chat, when a user unwittingly logged in and posted a single word-- "donut" and was summarily banned from the site.

No smooshing down, must be loaded on a horizontal member so the weight of the donuts and the angle of the dangle come into play.

I once repaired, in the local dognut shop, a machine that stuffs creme into doughnuts. A replaced switch was destroyed again in less than two months by so much grease in the air.

OK, it's monumental trivia time...

The British operation of DCA had its HQ in Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury.
I used to frequently drive past the premises.
Due to sale, takeover, merger, re-branding, or other corporate shenanigans, the site became home to Kerry Foods.
I haven't been that side of town for a while, but my recollection is that the buildings were demolished and the site was boarded up and vacant.

I told you it was trivial. :)

A Jessup manufacturing plant - a longtime supplier of bakery equipment to such companies as Tastykake Inc. and Entenmann's Bakery will close its doors today, leaving most of its 100 workers in search of jobs.

The Donut Corporation of America (DCA), which has baking ingredient and equipment operations throughout the world, has operated a Howard County plant for 76 years, starting in Ellicott City in 1920 and moving to Jessup in 1970.

But Kerry Ingredients, the Beloit, Wis., parent of DCA, decided in January to get out of the equipment manufacturing business and focus on making bakery ingredients, a DCA official said.
As a result, the company is shutting down the Jessup operation, which also manufactured fuel cells, floor plates and other equipment parts for the Department of Defense.

I once stopped there for a blueberry muffin. It apparently had a delicious creme inside. I never did this before or since. Turned around and went back for another.
