Green Chartreuse is some of the VILEST booze i have ever tryed ( including snake liquor in Jap )
But for a Guts drink , get a water glass pour in equal parts Stoli and Green Chartreuse, swirl ( DO NOT SNIFF !!!!!!) and slam it down !!!!
dont sniff it smells like dry cleaning fluid , dont sip it TASTS like dry cleaning fluid .

Hee hee! I agree, they're pretty dorky looking, but when you live out in the mud and the blood and the beer like I do, and need a waterproof, easy put-on/take-off shoe, they're the only thing that works. Plus, they last forever.

Heh. Folks who don't live in Bumfuck Idaho just don't understand the shoe thing. I have a little sign by my front door that says "No Muddy Boots or Shoes!" And I mean it. I even have a little basket of plastic grocery store bags by the front door for people to wrap their feet with if they don't want to go through the hassle of unlacing and relacing. You're not dragging that shit onto my floors and carpets, oh hell no.

And I ALWAYS remove my shoes when I go into someone else's house, I don't care where they live. Invariably, the city dwellers will say, "Oh, you don't have to do that!" And I'll say, "Oh yeah, I think you want me to." ;)
