Work Space

Griff • Jan 7, 2019 7:29 am
So over the Christmas holiday I finally finished pulling wires in my barn. I've been horsing around with this project forever because our needs keep changing. As it stands right now downstairs is the kayak stable plus chain saws and assorted junk. Upstairs is now becoming my shop area. I moved some of my stuff out of Dad's barn over the weekend. I was finding that I was avoiding going so far to do little jobs so little jobs have been piling up. I should put in stairs fairly soon and I ought to build a ramp next summer. For now I thank Allah etc... for hydraulics.

I misread that as “...pulling wires in my brain.”

That's really nice space.

Thanks, I need to build some racks for my lumber to open things up a little more. I need to pull my brain wires a bit on layout.

So did I!

That looks like a fun work space for revving up some serious power tools.

Work space means space in which to do work.

If ya ain't got the work space, ya ain't gotta do the work.

All that work, just so's ya can do more work.

Ain't ya learnt nuthin'?:eyebrow:

Work:bolt:

Just get a rope ladder. Then it becomes a tree house for old guys.

Intriguing. *cough*

Still jealous. I think that mansard roof/wall profile would make me a little crazy. I already knock my head on stuff around here, I don't need to be ambushed by the walls.

But that's probably just sour grapes on my part. Yeah, sour grapes. That is a wonderful space Griff. I wish you much sawdust.

Line the walls with shelves, racks, benches, and you won't hit your head.
Griff • Jan 15, 2019 7:21 am
Yeah being lower profile myself, I won't be losing much floor space and like Bruce said if that area is storage and there is generally a bench or machine between me and the wall. The only place I am likely to hit my head is on the sheet material rack. We'll see how it gets refined over time.
