xoxoxoBruce • Oct 20, 2018 8:34 pm
Yes, that was easy. How about another easy one?
sexobon • Oct 20, 2018 8:53 pm
Marion Robert Morrison.
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 20, 2018 9:09 pm
OK, one more gimme....
sexobon • Oct 20, 2018 10:09 pm
I had to do an image search on that one. I thought it was one of the Beatles in costume. Close; but, no cigar.
Carruthers • Oct 21, 2018 12:01 am
Looks like the future King Edward VIII.

Nowhere near sure, though!
sexobon • Oct 21, 2018 12:06 am
You mean my being a stinker and giving out that big hint was for naught?
Clodfobble • Oct 21, 2018 2:08 am
Groucho Marx?
fargon • Oct 21, 2018 9:04 am
He's an Englishman. I cheated.

The shame! The utter shame of it...

I shall now do the honourable thing.

I will return to my room and have an accident 'whilst cleaning my revolver'.

ETA: I now realise who it is but I'l leave it open for others.

In a plea of mitigation m'lud, I made the original post at 0501 having been awake since 0345.

The Doctor wouldn't approve. You'll have to throw yourself in front of a Dalek or something.

You’d have got it right if’n you’d had a cup of tea and a custard cream first! X

xoxoxoBruce • Oct 21, 2018 4:43 pm
Winnie it is.
This one shouldn't be too tough.
sexobon • Oct 21, 2018 10:59 pm
Samuel Clemens

The belt did it. Sam Donaldson was the runner up.
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 22, 2018 10:43 am
OK, another gimme.
Gravdigr • Oct 22, 2018 2:27 pm
Bobby Lee
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 22, 2018 8:14 pm
Yes, that thing on the floor behind him makes me wonder if that's a wax figure?

This one might be a tad tougher...
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 23, 2018 3:24 pm
No takers, eh?
Gravdigr • Oct 23, 2018 3:48 pm
I know I know who dat. It's gonna bother me when I find out.

xoxoxoBruce • Oct 23, 2018 4:02 pm
Nope, white guy.
Gravdigr • Oct 23, 2018 4:17 pm
Popdigr put in a guess: Walt Disney, but, I don't think so.

I was going with Walter Cronkite for a minute.
Gravdigr • Oct 23, 2018 4:28 pm
I've wasted so much time on this. I'm gonna hate my self when I find out who dat.
Carruthers • Oct 23, 2018 4:50 pm
Is there a degree of notoriety attached to this individual?

Criminality, perhaps?
Gravdigr • Oct 23, 2018 5:15 pm
I keep wanting to think it's some scientist-type...
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 23, 2018 8:27 pm
Hollywood.
sexobon • Oct 23, 2018 8:36 pm
Popdigr isn't alone. Others have made that comparison. That's how I came across this ready made side by side. Now I know because of that; but, I never would have guessed it.

xoxoxoBruce • Oct 23, 2018 9:27 pm
I guess that was tougher than I thought, it does look a little like Disney but it's really...
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 23, 2018 9:30 pm
Moving right along here's another easy-medium one...
Carruthers • Oct 24, 2018 6:57 am
Stewart Granger?
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 24, 2018 8:33 am
Not an actor.
fargon • Oct 24, 2018 5:54 pm
i cheated, but I will say that he's an American.
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 24, 2018 7:01 pm
The background looks like it's dusk but could be dawn because the Sun also rises.
sexobon • Oct 24, 2018 7:27 pm
First I identified the uniform period, then searched images for a famous former soldier from that period and it came up about halfway down the page. So here he is in civvies:

Carruthers • Oct 24, 2018 11:27 pm
Curtis LeMay?

It's 0425. What, in the name of all that's holy, am I doing here?

xoxoxoBruce • Oct 25, 2018 12:07 am
Bingo, Hemingway it is.

Now you know that's Abe Lincoln but who is the short guy with him?
BigV • Oct 25, 2018 2:23 am
Poe
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 25, 2018 4:10 am
Yes, Poe it is.

This should be tougher.
Clodfobble • Oct 25, 2018 7:34 am
Tesla?
Griff • Oct 25, 2018 8:11 am
Alexander Stephens
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 25, 2018 9:24 am
Nope, nope, children have heard of him.
Carruthers • Oct 25, 2018 9:35 am
Hans Christian Andersen.
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 25, 2018 11:37 am
Yes, yes it is.

Now who would this be?
Carruthers • Oct 25, 2018 11:48 am
Nikolai Tesla
fargon • Oct 25, 2018 12:12 pm
Vincent van Gogh
And I didn't cheat.
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 25, 2018 2:13 pm
Yes, Van Gogh with his ear.

Now this may be tough unless you've seen this picture before, most pictures are at an older age. She looks like a girl I once knew, but had a much different future.
Gravdigr • Oct 25, 2018 4:11 pm
I just tried cheating and found that pic id'd as Mother Theresa.

I don't think that's Mother Theresa. Doesn't coincide w/any of her other younger pics.

Yeah, the pic is there, in a GIS, but, it's not even close to the others.

Glinda • Oct 26, 2018 7:39 pm
Audrey Hepburn?
xoxoxoBruce • Oct 26, 2018 9:48 pm
No Glinda, it was purported to be a young Mother Teresa but that proved to be wrong.
sexobon • Oct 26, 2018 10:20 pm
Everyone knows it was Einor Donahue.

Right, but that's a pic of someone (who looks like a young Audrey).

Has the actual girl in the pic been identified (other than NOT being a young Mother Teresa)?
sexobon • Oct 27, 2018 1:23 pm
Yes, it's in the link that Rhianne provided.

Undertoad • Oct 27, 2018 4:17 pm
That is Gladys Presley, mother of Elvis.

Gravdigr • Oct 28, 2018 3:16 pm
Boy, Elvis sure loved him some Gladys.

Is that Junior Brown by the lamp?:p:
