Cosby's actions were, by definition, violent.

Voluntarily drunk is not the same as secretly dosed with drugs. Many of Cosby's women didn't know they'd had a drug slipped into their drink.

The notion of inability to consent as it relates to drunken sex is important because it replaces the assumption that a drunk woman must have been willing, or is culpable when raped.

Context matters - as does intent. Two equally drunk people getting their funk on at a party is not the same thing as a a guy deliberately plying a girl with enough alcohol to pass out and then using her for his own entertainment.
