That's awesome. It's night here and day there. And I saw one catch a fish!

Yeah I was kind of mesmerized. There were two, one in the middle and a huge one at the far shore in the water but under overhanging greenery. They both caught and gobbled fish in about 8 minutes.

It's just getting light here now and it's still day there. I know Alaska is the land of the midnight sun, but that kind of blows my mind.

And the bears know it's time to sleep.

Several out there now, and I actually saw a salmon jump and fail in the center of the falls. The one bear standing in the foam at the base of the falls, I don't see how he can possibly see anything in the water.

Remember that movie where they were the last people on a train running through the frozen world. At the end they make the train crash and a couple come out and see a polar bear on the hill. The bear sees them and turns around to go down the hill.

I am glad the movie ended so I didn't have to watch the cute white bear eat those people. Whoever wrote that screenplay didn't know squat about polar bears.
