That picture made me Sweat.
Did you get the bike dirty too, or just clean it?
My buddy stopped last night, said he went through 4 t-shirts yesterday splitting wood by hand.
No, maul and wedges, 2 feet plus in diameter.
Yeah, yeah, that's just funny as hell.
Go grab an eight pound hammer and a couple spuds.
Meet me in four hours, and we'll see how that funny bone feels.
I ain't doing that shit no more. Evar.:headshake

Yeah, we got super muddy Sunday morning so I cleaned it before the second round of splitting.

Actually it's a 16 lb hammer, use to be mine 40 years ago when I traded him for a 9. That crazy 62 year old is still using and loving it.
I used a splitting maul, axe, hammer -n- wedges up until last year. Turns out Dad bought a splitter which sat for a couple years because I thought he was storing it for his brother...
I saw in Kentucky they get a 20 ton load of coal delivered and dump it near the back door. Then I have a trucking buddy that has a gas line across his property. The deal was they hooked a line to his house for free heat.

I had a Monster Maul:

@ 13 lbs., it didn't take much of that thing to go a looooong way.
That's a man eater.
I have a couple of those that Dad gave me but they are really awkward. I mixed up the language a bit. I like to use a go devil which has a six or eight pound head and an ergonomic handle.
That's an outboard motor around these h'yere parts.
