Given that death and taxes are life's only certainties, tomorrow's IOTD will be my recent letter from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.

Some hearses find life after death...

I have gotten good deals on two used Packard hearses, a '39 and a '48, both with very low (and presumably slow) mileage.

What did you do with Them?

Both made good campers with the '39 carrying large groups and/or surfboards to Southern California beaches around 1960 and the '48 to various destinations around Northern California in the '80s.

Neither were very good investments in terms of profit at sale, but both went to new owners who intended keeping the camping tradition.
