Kids today, who aren't taught cursive, often can't *read* things written in cursive.

That makes perfect sense, but it's something you never really think about. Today, a younger person often can't even read an older person's writing. There was a story today of one young person who learned cursive so that she could read her grandparents' love letters.

Today's history major can't read the civil war letters I read. I guess I should have been translating?
