Japan is crazy about cats,.
They have 150 Cat Cafes, with mostly old fat cats chosen to exude a laid back relaxed atmosphere.
A local NGO, called Kitten Cafe Sanctuary, and Yoro Railway Co Ltd., teamed up to create the Cat Train.
The NGO hoped to promote stray cat adoption, and the Railroad wanted to jump start tourism to Ōgaki
and the destination city, Ikeno.

Unlike the Cat Cafes, the train had about 30 rescue kittens climbing over people, as kittens are wont to do.
The 2.5 hour trip offered scenic views nobody looked at...
free food nobody ate...
and a bathroom break half way that nobody used.
