Han and colleagues present striking results from an analysis of the 2015 National Survey on Drug Use and Health. They estimate that 38% of U.S. adults used prescription opioids in the prior year. Among these 92 million persons, 13% reported prescription opioid misuse, and 2% reported a prescription opioid use disorder.

Guess it's not just people.

I actually own a (water-damaged) copy of the Scientific American magazine that reported on the "giving spiders drugs" experiment. Think it's from 1953, but I don't recall them testing opiates or opioids. I do remember that the one given amphetamines built a perfect web...
