I quit smoking..... cigarettes

captainhook455 • Jun 28, 2017 8:55 am
The day finally dawned when I threw the nails down. I have been wanting to stop, but have no willpower. Just ask my second wife. She bought me a Nautilus vape pipe for Father's day.

Maybe a pipe is the wrong terminology. Vape bong would be accurate. Push the little button and suck out the top. Presto a cloud of mango flavored vapor floats out my mouth.

See I have an assortment of vape pens in my desk. I had the Winston flavor which tastes like a normal ashtray butt re-lit cigarette.

After two strokes last summer it looks like that would have been a good sign to quit, but I am too fucking stupid.

The vape came just in time as I had come down with a raunchy head cold on Father's day and anyone who smokes knows that it is hard to do so with a cold.

Mebbe I will have success and my little (ha ha) buddy in SE Jersey will see the light.

If you're vaping, have you really quit? I tried it, but the vapor makes me cough my lungs out.

I quit, too! 80 days ago to be exact :)

Bah, quitters. :p:

I quit when the cashier tried to charge me $1.03 for a pack of Winston reds. The day before they were $0.78.

I quit right after Christmas 2009. Haven't gone back yet, but still have cravings.
Hardest drug I ever quit - BY FAR!

Ok I'm back. I went for a 228 mile ride on the Harley.

The Nautilus has 3 settings. Small, medium and large openings for how much air is drawn up. Like the carburetor on a pipe.

I use the small setting. Anything higher is a choker for me. At first I used the 21 mg. Presently on 14 mg. Seemed a little weak at first. Now it taste like shit like the 21 was.

I will get a picture of the appliance, but my cat Tiger is sleeping on my lap.

I started with mango flavor cause it is smooth, but still has a nicotine hit without the tar. Ok Tiger got up.ImageImage

Generally I don't fill it up. Halfway will last for days. Have I had a Camel Blue since, but of course. It is like smoking without lighting it up.

These will be seen for $129.99, but my wife looks for the bargains and purchased all for 80 bucks including tax.

Jimmy boy I saw how your face turns red when you smoke. I am doing this for my health, but you better think about yours too.

For some reason, I just can't see Jim with cig in hand.

Is the vape supposed to be a weaning step?
captainhook455 • Jul 1, 2017 9:04 pm
Yes yes it is. I started with the 24 mg then 14, but I guess I wasn't ready yet so I went back to the 24 mg today. Much better. I have no urge to sneak one.

I have no urge to smoke dope either even though I can get mariwana oil over the counter in SC. One of these days I will get down there. Too hot to ride a bike.

Yes, my brother has been weaning for at least six years at $50 a month.

9 out of 10 smokers don't get cancer.
2 out of 3 smokers don't die from it.
Mike Pence said so.
