Visoth Kakvei, from Cambodia, is a world class doodler.

The 27-year-old graphic designer usually draws his works freehand and the pieces take 3-6 hours to finish, but sometimes Kakvei feels it's not enough. So, to make his incredibly intricate maze-like illustrations even more stunning, the artist digitally enhances them, making the doodles appear as if they're popping out from the pages.

Well they certainly do POP.

Now that they're trying really hard to bring back coloring books, marketed to adults these days (I have a bird guide one and a freeform-botanical one), this guy had better be at least considering creating line art like those crystals for such projects! His work is way better than most of what I've seen, and not every design would be suited, but I've known people who'd have spent WEEKS coloring in the first one.
