That pic is the bee's knees.

I'm surprised as most hummers avoid bees and yellow maggots like the plague.

I've always attributed it to not wanting one to strike their blazing wings, which would probably be like hitting a rock or something.

I imagine a bee's sting would knock the socks off a hummingbird.
