Man, that's tough. It implies everyone wants to be dedicated to the pursuit and achievement of happiness, and once you have it to keep it. You could be satisfied with what you have, but that's not human nature. Maybe if you're 25 you feel your happy with your life but I can guarantee it won't last. Shit happens to everyone, and people change their goals which put them back in the pursuit column.
Remember the pursuit of happiness is not a duty, it's a privilege.
I'd be interested in the analysis.

Mum, I need to do a survey paper on the pursuit of happiness.
When is it due.
Monday.
What?! When was it assigned?
A couple weeks ago.
AAGGGHHHHH!
:lol2:

in this instance, it really was only assigned this week, but usually that's about the norm for this kid...

I think most parents can relate to the situation I described, I see it in the comics frequently, so it must ring a few bells. Except Suzy next door, she always has it done a week early.

Monster, you seem to always going above and beyond to beat some sense into your kids skulls. Kudos.

And we are good, thanks! Apparently he also has to do a more closed-ended survey so if you are still burning to answer questions about happiness, please watch this space! Thanks, Everbody

Can't wait for graduation.... yes, 2.3 more years to go.....

2.3 They are on Trimesters and we just started the third for this year. It's highly unlikely there will be college in there, and if there is, I damn well will not be overseeing the homework!

Thank everyone, we have now made as much sense as we ever will of the rubric for this thing, and the work due today, Monday and Tuesday is done and the work due Wednesday,Thursday and Friday is underway.

Whoever oversees this teacher should be made to do some of her assignments
